Sunday morning at 8 o'clock, State Police responded to assist Franklin Police with the report of a suspicious male subject on Nelson Street in Franklin. Police  located a male subject with a leg injury and head trauma. He was subsequently identified as the victim of a reported armed home invasion on Plains Court in Franklin. The male subject was treated on scene by EMS and then transported by ambulance to Franklin Regional Hospital and then flown by medical helicopter to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

After interviewing the victim, State Troopers from Troop D, a State Police K-9 Unit from Troop B and Franklin officers responded to Plains Court to further investigate.

The investigation determined that three male suspects and a female suspect were involved in what was reported as a home invasion. It is alleged that they entered the victim’s residence with firearms and threatened him.  It is believed the victim escaped and fled from the residence.
Investigators determined that the suspects fled the scene in a newer model maroon pickup truck with an unknown New Hampshire temporary registration.  Franklin Police and State Police broadcast a Be-On-the Look-Out  for the suspect vehicle.

At approximately 9:18 a.m., Trooper First Class Shirley was on Route 11 in East Andover, NH when he observed a vehicle matching the suspect’s vehicle description.  As TFC Shirley turned around to stop the vehicle, it pulled into the driveway of a residence.  Believing the suspects were armed, TFC Shirley radioed in his location and awaited additional units. Upon the arrival of additional Troopers, Franklin Police and the Andover Police, they approached the vehicle and two males and a female, identified as 18 year old Trenton McDonald and 19 year old Tasha Lebeau of Laconia and 18 year old Dominic Ferrari of Gilford.

The three were taken into custody without incident.  Numerous weapons were observed inside the vehicle.  A check of the vehicle also revealed it was stolen out of Boscawen NH on December 19th.

McDonald , who was driving the vehicle, and Ferrari were booked on charges of Armed Robbery,  Criminal Threatening, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Receiving Stolen Property.

Lebeau was booked on charges of Accomplice to Commit Armed Robbery, Criminal Liability for the Conduct of Another, Driving After Suspension  and Receiving Stolen Property.

Bail was set at $30,000 cash for each defendant and they are currently being held at the Merrimack County Jail pending arraignment in the 6th Circuit Court-Franklin District on December 21, 2015.

The victim is currently in the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
