(Hampton Falls, NH) - NH State Police say excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor in the accident in Hampton Falls.

Police say a car driven by 21 year old Jacob Raymond of Exeter went off Route 88 at a curve and struck a stand of trees. The crash may have occurred Saturday evening around 6:30, but the wreckage was hidden by the thick vegetation and was not spotted until Sunday morning at 11.

Dead at the scene were Jacob Raymond and two passengers, 18 year old Sarah Frost of Exeter and 22 year old Stephen Hansen of Seabrook.

22 year old Daniel Petruzelli of Manchester survived the crash and is hospitalized with serious injuries.

State Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
