4-Vehicle Crash Closes NH Highway For Hours [NEWS]

(Campton, NH) - NH State Police say an accident involving two tractor-trailer rigs and two cars closed a section of Route i-93 in Campton overnight.

A tractor-trailer rig carrying steel I-beams rear-ended another rig carrying cranberries. the I-beams destroyed the cab of the rig. a car slid on the cranberries and ended up wedged under on the of trucks and a second car was damaged by debris in the road. Only one minor injury resulted, but it took over 6 hours to clean up the accident scene and reopen the southbound lanes.
