With Mother's Day fast approaching, let's take a look at some of the coolest 'Moms' in Country Music and one that may surprise you.

In no particular order, let's begin with Country's newest Mommy, Carrie Underwood. Carrie gave birth to her first child, a boy named Isaiah Michael Fisher back in February. I wonder what her husband, NHL player, Mike Fisher will do for her first Mother's Day.

Then, of course, there's Reba! She has a son, Shelby, plus several step-children. Reba is also a grandmother a few times over including the newest member to her family, her granddaughter,River Rose. (River's mom is Kelly Clarkson. That's one talented family.)

Martina McBride is another country Mom who has the cool factor. I remember when Martina played the Verizon Wireless Arena a couple of years ago. I was backstage waiting to introduce her opening act and who happens to be sitting right next me having dinner? You guessed it, Martina, her husband and their daughters. I admire a woman who can manage a tour and parent at the same time.

I wouldn't mind having Trisha Yearwood as my step-mother! She sings, she's married to Garth Brooks and she's a whiz in the kitchen. Trisha has a few cookbooks and her own cooking show. I bet Thanksgiving dinner at the the Brooks/Yearwoood home is amazing.

Naomi Judd has to be included in the list of 'Cool Country Moms.' Naomi and her daughter, Wynonna, a.k.a 'The Judds,' were all over country radio back in the day with hits like, 'Grandpa,' ' Love Can Build a Bridge,' 'Mama, He's Crazy.'

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Miranda Lambert. I know, you're thinking to yourself, Miranda doesn't have any children. Well, I'm including her because she is an animal Momma and animal Momma's need a little shout out too!

So, here's to each and every Mom who carries out day to day Momma duties without expecting anything in return. May you have a day filled with rest, joy and love!
