50 Year Old Man Found Dead On Rochester Street

( Rochester, N.H. ) - Police are investigating the cause of death of a 50 year old man found on Portland Street in Rochester this morning.

Police Capt. Gary Boudreau said they received a call from a man on his way to work at 5:40 a.m. when he saw the victim lying face down in a puddle. The man started CPR, and then called 911. The man was pronounced dead when police arrived on scene. Boudreau said the cause of death is not yet known and that foul play has not been ruled out. No identification of the victim has been made. Boudreau said the victim was staying in Rochester, but was unable to confirm if he was a resident or visitor.
