Introducing Chuck Esterly, a man who decided to try stand up comedy for the first time at the age of 89.

I came in a expecting a cute story about an old guy giving something new a try, which in and of itself would have been cool. If you've ever been to an open mic at a comedy club, you learn to appreciate that stand-up is very difficult. People performing for the first time are typically nervous and, frankly, pretty terrible. That's the nature of the game; watch how early Louis CK pales in comparison to his act now. This guy, well, he's a natural.

According to Splitsider.com, Esterly is a resident at a senior center that took a standup 101 comedy class and arranged to perform at a comedy club in Cincinatti. Check out the full story on their site, definitely worth a read after you take in his act above!
