A House in Alton is the Most Expensive Home in New Hampshire

If I'm doing the math correctly, and it's certain that I'm not, I figure that the most expensive home currently for sale in New Hampshire will set you back about $90,000 per month.

Zillow has put out a page with the most expensive homes in New Hampshire. The top of the list is a sweet $20,000,000 home in Alton. It's pricey, but you get over 24,000 square feet of house for the money. For the heck of it, I tried to plug it into an online mortgage calculator.

For starters, it wouldn't even take a figure that high. The most that the mortgage calculator would take was $10,000, 000. So, at that price with an interest rate of 4%, the monthly mortgage was $45,000. If you double that you start to get into the neighborhood of the $24,000,000 home in Alton, pardon the pun.

The takeaways from all this? You need to be Secretary of the Treasury to figure this all out. And all those zeroes give me a serious brain cramp.
