A Murphy’s Law Kind of Day

If anything could go wrong, it did for me within an hour of waking up. You know it's never going to be a good day when...

You're getting ready to go to work and with each step you take on the kitchen floor, you realize there is something very sticky.

You realize the popsicle you had the night before must have been dripping on the way to garbage can to throw it So you spend some time cleaning the hardwood floor trying to not wake up others.

Then Brandy needs to be fed so I got her breakfast ready and realized she must have had more water than usual yesterday because she had an 'accident.' No big deal, I already broke out a new roll of paper towels wiping up the popsicle drippings!

I finally make it to my car when I realize, uh-oh, I don't have enough gas to get me through my day today, so although it's going to make me a minute or two late for work, I stop at the local gas station and proceed to fill up my tank.

As I'm taking the fuel pump out of my tank, it spills on my hand and foot. I mumble to myself as I get back in my car and start wiping my hands and shoe with stray napkins and tissues.

And if that wasn't enough, since I was trying make up time heading to work, I was going a little over the speed limit...and you guessed it.

Got pulled over by police. I hope your day is a heck of a lot better than mine!
