32 year old Ian MacPherson faces two counts of Attempted Capital Murder for shooting the officers in separate incidents just after 2 last Friday morning in Manchester.

Officer Ryan Hardy was attempting to question MacPherson, who matched the description of a suspect in a Thursday night armed robbery, when he was shot in the cheek and torso.

About 30 minutes later, MacPherson fired shots at Officer Matthew O'Connor, striking him in the leg.

MacPherson was arrested several hours later after a massive manhunt that closed down Manchester's west side.

MacPherson was ordered held without bail on the two Felony charges and is due back in court for a probable cause hearing on May 27th at 11 am.

Both Manchester police officers are expected to fully recover from their wounds.
