The Morning Waking Crew conducted a 'favorite dessert' survey and we were surprised at one dessert many listeners enjoyed.Believe it or not, Amish Country's 'Shoofly Pie' was a favorite of many listeners. How does that happen?  Do we not vacation at the lake or beach anymore?  Is Amish the new Orlando?  Are we so wrapped up in our electronic lives that families now want to get away to a quieter non 'smartphone' way of life?  Anyway you slice it, the Amish should find a way mass-produce. 'Shoofly Pie.'

The story of Craig Slezak goes like this.  He had a friend who thought it would be a good idea to steal copper from a railway station.  Only problem was the security cameras. Police say Craig allegedly climbed up a ladder and tore the camera off the wall.  Only problem was, before he tore it down, it captured his image.

Joke du Jour

A man was hauled into court to stand before a judge and he had some explaining to do after being caught breaking into a women's clothing store four time.  As the judge read the paperwork, he asked the man why he broke into the store four times, but only stole one dress.  The man told him he had to go back three more times because his wife didn't like the colors.
