(Rochester, NH) - Two men are facing arraignment his morning after a Friday morning robbery.

Last Friday morning at  2:19 Rochester Officers were flagged down while they were at Cumberland Farms on Knight St. by a male and female who claimed to be the victims of an armed robbery.

Officers begun investigating their complaint and learned the male and female had been the victim’s of an earlier theft of money by an acquaintance. In an attempt to get back their money they met with an unknown male who had the victims drive to a residence on King St. where they parked. While in the driveway of the residence the unknown male allegedly pulled a knife holding it to the males neck demanding he hand over his wallet. After  receiving the wallet the suspect who was described to police as a white male in his 20’s ran from the vehicle. It was at this point the victim’s left the scene and found police to report the crime.

Officers call upon Rochester Police Department’s K-9 unit who conducted a track from the King St. location to the residence at 17 Winter St. Police eventually made contact with 3 individuals who were in the building.

A subsequent search warrant was completed on the residence to locate potential items of evidence. As a result of interviews conduct by Rochester Police Detectives Unit, police took two males into custody in relation to the case.

Arrested were 23 year old Michael Elliott who was charged with one count of Armed Robbery a class A felony charge and 24 year old Tyler Webber who charged with Theft by Deception a class B misdemeanor, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery a class A felony and Falsifying physical evidence a class B felony

Both Elliott and Webber refused bail and were transported to Strafford County Jail where they are being held until their arraignments which are scheduled for this morning at 11:00 via video at the Rochester District Court.
