Arrest Made In Exeter Assault

(Exeter, NH) - A Massachusetts man is facing charges for assaulting a child in Exeter.

19 year old Solomon Martinez of Middleborough, Massachusetts turned himself in to Exeter police after warrants were issued charging him with two counts Second Degree Assault.

Police says Martinez was visiting a home in Exeter earlier this month and placed his hands around the neck of a 5-year old female relative, trying to choke her.

Martinez was arraigned on the two Class-B felony charges in Exeter District Court and ordered held in lieu of $10-thousand cash or $25-thousand surety bail.
