Roy Sullivan

Handsome, debonair, and a man of exquisite taste-- Roy is the host of the Big Drive Home! He joined the WOKQ ranks in 2005. Listeners tune in to hear his musings on all things country, pop culture, country, and sports. When not playing New England's Best Country or giving away tickets to that hot concert you really want to go to with that cute friend you've been Facebook stalking for a year, he stays busy living life. Roy is a Sanborn Regional High School and UNH grad, a goalie in several men's hockey leagues, and the president of the Coastal New England Baseball League. He is a wonderful husband and The World's Best Dad, as asserted by a mug Ilikely purchased second hand at a local Goodwill.

The Daily

Great North Woods Sled Dog Challenge in Colebrook

The Great North Woods Sled Dog Challenge ran into some trail condition and scheduling challenges (it coincided with the 42nd Annual NHSA Ride In) that have condensed the event into a single leg tomorrow in Colebrook. Find the schedule of events here. My recommendation?

Curling Better Be Ready at Sochi

We've heard a lot about how Sochi isn't ready but the curling facilities darn well better be. I have no idea why curling becomes so popular every four years-- who outside of Canada watches it outside of the Olympics? But count me among those who could watch three straight hours of curling during the Winter Games.
