Easton Corbin, ‘Baby Be My Love Song’ [Listen]
After two spicy singles, Easton Corbin returns to a straight-forward love song for his next radio release. ‘Baby Be My Love Song’ is the sort of timeless tune Corbin began his career with.
Toby Keith, ‘Drunk Americans’ [Listen]
The bar has provided inspiration for many of Toby Keith's most recent radio singles, and the good times don't appear to be coming to an end. 'Drunk Americans' is his latest. The woozy waltz adds a hint of inclusive social commentary to allow it to stand out from the rest.
Kenny Chesney, ‘Til It’s Gone’ [Listen]
Kenny Chesney’s second single from ‘The Big Revival’ recalls spontaneous romances that lived and died in many of his previous hits. The story told with 'Til It’s Gone’ will remind fans of ‘Anything But Mine’ from 2005, but the two tracks are sonically very different.
Tim McGraw Takes Over Taste of Country
Tim McGraw's 'Sundown Heaven Town' album will be available on Tuesday (Sept. 16), a fact readers of Taste of Country will hardly miss. The singer has taken over the No. 1 country music news site on the web, agreeing to roll out exclusive interviews and content each day over the next two weeks.
You Think You Know Florida Georgia Line?
Florida Georgia Line seemingly came out of nowhere when 'Cruise' became a radio hit in 2012. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard exploded onto the scene and were quickly rubbing elbows with Luke Bryan and rapper Nelly. But overnight success? Hardly. Find out the unlikely place these two got their start in this edition of 'You Think You Know Country.'
Chris Young, ‘Lonely Eyes’ [Listen]
Chris Young’s new song ‘Lonely Eyes’ is sneaky. At first, his story and familiar shuffle are easy to dismiss as just another fine croon from the 29-year-old. But listen closer.
Justin Moore (Feat. Vince Neil), ‘Home Sweet Home’ [Listen]
Like the many before it, Justin Moore’s cover of Motley Crue’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ stays true to the original. The country singer’s down-home roots give the song (slightly) new meaning. In fact, the classic rock track fits in nicely with today’s Nashville sound.
Keith Urban, ‘Somewhere in My Car’ [Listen]
Keith Urban’s new single ‘Somewhere in My Car’ is an uptempo, guitar-driven breakup song that recalls some of his earlier hits. Sonically, the pop-friendly rocker is similar to ‘Days Go By’ and ‘Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me.’ Lyrically, it's closer to 'We Were Us.'
Sam Hunt, ‘Leave the Night On’ [Listen]
'Leave the Night On' -- Sam Hunt's first single on MCA Nashville -- brings a new sound to country radio.
Album Spotlight: Miranda Lambert, ‘Platinum’
Miranda Lambert’s fifth studio album ‘Platinum’ presents a more emotionally centered 30-year-old. Few songs cut deep lyrically, but the singer hardly plays it safe.
Album Spotlight: Rascal Flatts, ‘Rewind’
The song 'Rewind' is a good measuring stick for Rascal Flatts' new album of the same name as it truly does -- as Jay DeMarcus said -- tie the old to the new. It's the mean of 13 songs that range from syrupy and organic to razor sharp and vengeful.
Scotty McCreery Named Country’s Sexiest Male
The fans have spoken and Scotty McCreery is the hottest male in country music.
2014 ACM Awards Best Dressed Pictures
Blues and deep reds were popular amongst the best dressed at the 2014 ACM Awards on Sunday night.
2014 ACM Awards Worst Dressed Pictures
Men dominate the 2014 ACM Awards Worst Dressed list. Someone needs to work with these guys to make a few adjustments, because each is really not that far away from drifting down the red carpet unnoticed at worst. There is one female star on our list of fashion felons. Four of these five makes one mistake, while one becomes the first person to make both Best and Worst lists.
Billy Currington Calls His Experience at St. Jude an ‘Eye-Opener’
Like so many country stars, Billy Currington remembers expecting his first St. Jude visit to be depressing -- they are treating sick kids after all, he figured. If there's one lesson to remember from Taste of Country's two-day webathon, however, it's that that couldn't be further from the truth.
