(Concord, NH) - A Vermont woman has been charged with trying to smuggle drugs into the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord.

30 year old Sierra Maskell of Eden Mills, Vermont was arrested Saturday night and charged with Conspiracy to Introduce Articles To Prisoners and Possession of Controlled Drugs.

Authorities had learned that Maskell was planning to bring drugs to the prison during a visit with a prisoner. She was working in cooperation with Ronald Truell who is serving a sentence for robbery.

Maskell was found to have 74 strips of Suboxone on her person, as well as Cocaine, Ritalin and drug paraphernalia. The prison value of the drugs was estimated at $23-thousand.

Officials continue to investigate the case.
