A&W Restaurants Opening New Locations

Enjoying an A&W Root Beer Float is nostalgia in a frosted mug. Now, it's reported the restaurant chain, which began in 1919 is making a comeback, of sorts. 

According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, A&W, America's oldest restaurant chain plans to open more stores this year than it will close, creating excitement that there could possibly be an A&W restaurant location near you soon

At its peak, in the late 1960s, A&W had 2,400 locations. Currently, there are no A&W locations in New Hampshire. There is one in Harwichport (Cape Cod) in Massachusetts, Middlebury, Vermont.
