Bank of NH Pavilion is Enforcing a New No Purse Policy

I experienced this venue for the first time last weekend for the Sam Hunt concert. I walked in, not aware of the purse law, and was told my bag was too big. I marched my bottom back to the car and put my too large purse in the trunk. Luckily I had pockets in my dress that I was able to keep my keys and phone in which is really all I needed. It was not a huge deal but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

I know that safety is a huge concern for concert venues given recent events. It so sad that we can't enjoy live music anymore without being a little bit scared that someone with malicious intent is being let in. Personally, I think we should do anything we can to ensure the highest level of safety at these venues. And if that means we must downgrade the size clutch we bring out to a concert, so be it.

The venue is getting some serious backlash on their Facebook page after making this announcement. So I am curious to know what you think about it.
