Bank Of NH Pavilion Just Got Nominated for A CMA Award

The Country Music Association hands out the Country Music Awards to the biggest and brightest Country stars tomorrow night. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood (with baby bump) will host Country's Biggest Night for the 11th time at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

According to CMT, Chris Stapleton tops the list of nominees with five nominations, including Entertainer of the Year. While  Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, Midland, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban all have three nominations.

But what may be more interesting to those of us in New England is who will win the 2018 CMA Venue of the Year. Because this year the Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford, NH has been nominated for the honor.

Bank of NH Pavilion will be competing with some other legendary venues. Including the Alabama Theater in Birmingham, AL, Ascend Ampitheater in Nashville, TN, Red Rocks In Colorado, and the legendary Ryman Theater in Nashville, TN.

While all of those are worthy venues, I know all of us will be rooting for our home state venue. And all of us at 97-5 WOKQ and 103-7 The Peak look forward to see you there next summer for all of the best concerts.
