A new but familiar name will be running in New Hampshire's first congressional race; Levi Sanders. Yes, the son of 2016 presedential candidate Bernie Sanders.

According to ABC, Sanders announced he will be running on Monday evening and said:

This is a unique opportunity to listen to the hard working men and women of New Hampshire about the issues that matter to them."

His policial agenda mirrors his father's and he plans to tackle many of the same issues including a Medicare for All health care system as well as addressing the opioid crisis in the state of New Hampshire.

While his name recognition may give him an advantage, some disadvantages have been pointed out as well. For example the fact that he does not live in the first district of New Hampshire therefore it doesn't make a whole lot of sense why he would be running in a district he doesn't reside.

He could also run into some trouble going up against well known Democrats Chris Pappas and Maura Sullivan who are more plugged in as to what is happening in the state of New Hampshire.

Time will tell! How do you feel about Sander's decision to run?
