Body Found Hidden In Manchester Home

(Manchester, NH) -  Police believe they have found the body of a Manchester woman who has been missing for the past 5 weeks. Human remains were found hidden in a secret crawlspace of a home at 169-A Calef Road in Manchester Sunday evening.

Sue Hutchinson has been missing since September 20th, and her roomate, Stephen Andrade,  had not been seen since September 21. Police believe that 36 year old Andrade killed the 57 year old Hutchinson and hid her body behind a false wall inside a closet in their apartment.  Andrade killed himself last Tuesday in a motel room in Massachusetts.
Before his death, he made statements that make it appear likely he killed Hutchinson and hid her body before fleeing Manchester.

The body was found by Manchester Police and Fire officials who had been called to the home Sunday evening after a strange odor was detected in the apartment and police uncovered the hidden crawl space.

An autopsy is scheduled for today to positively identify the remains.
