(Biddeford, Maine) - Maine State Police have charged an 18 year old Biddeford man with the arson fire in September that claimed the lives of two roommates.

State Police have charged Dylan Lee Collins with two counts of murder and one count of arson for the blaze on September 18th in a multi-family building at 35 Main Street in Biddeford.

21 year old James Ford and 23 year old Michael Moore died of smoke inhalation as a result of the fire.

Collins was taken in to custody Wednesday at his place of work, Monkey Trunks in Saco, and was taken to the hospital for observation until early this morning when he was formally charged and transported to the York County jail.

He will appear in York County Superior Count this afternoon.
