UPDATE: Tractor Trailer Demolishes Maine Police Cruiser

(Richmond, Maine) - A tractor trailer and a Maine State Police cruiser collided on Interstate 295 in Richmond, Maine this morning.

Maine State Trooper Greg Stevens was parked in the northbound breakdown lane on I-295 in Richmond when his cruiser was rear-ended by the T.T. Unit which the crossed into the median and burst into flames.

Trooper Stevens was able to walk away from the wreck and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
