Come meet Blades, the Bruin's mascot, and the Ice Girls as they visit a pair of local libraries on Tuesday!

You find them at the Durham Public Library from 11am-noon and at Goodwin Library in Farmington from 3-4pm. They'll be promoting summer reading as part of the Bruins’ “When You Read, You Score!” program.

From the press release:

Children registered for their public library’s summer reading program will have the opportunity to color hockey masks, read “This Bear’s Tale: How Blades Became a Bruin” and play trivia games with Blades. To help encourage summer reading, several Bruins players – including Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and Tuuka Rask – have developed a “Favorite Books of the Boston Bruins” reading list, which includes titles that will interest very young readers through adults."

Durham Public Library is at 49 Madbury Road, Durham and Goodwin Library is at 422 Main Street, Farmington.
