Bruins Preseason Starts Tonight but Game Won’t Be Televised

Last time you watched the Bruins, you likely felt like this guy after the Game 7 loss to the Canadiens. The 2014-15 season starts tonight against those same Canadiens. Well, sort of-- preseason games don't really mean anything (but neither do Red Sox games at this point, right?). Unfortunately, while the Sox brutal 2014 campaign sputters to an end, the start of the B's won't be on televised.

Why couldn't NESN have this on NESN Plus? Or even stream it? I need my fix! If you have the NHL Network, you'll be able to catch the B's on Friday in Washington (they host the Caps on Wednesday but, alas, not televised). NESN's coverage starts on September 30th and the regular season begins October 8th against Philly. Even though the games don't count yet and they're not televised, it's good to know that the Bruins are back. The offseason was far too long...
