The word "hipster" has become quite commonplace in our society. But in case you need some clarity, the word hipster is defined as:

a person who follows the latest trends and fashions, especially those regarded as being outside the cultural mainstream.

So think someone who buys records instead of downloading music and who writes in their journal while sitting in coffee shops.

The folks at Buzzfeed put together a list of the most hipster neighborhoods in each state. So where can you find the most cardigan rocking, oversized glasses wearing, fair trade coffee drinking folks in New Hampshire? (I might be sterotyping, just a tad)

According to Buzzfeed the answer is the West End of Portsmouth.

Hipster hot spots in the West End include The Button Factory where a number of local artists hang and you know, create things.

And White Heron Tea where you can find turmeric lattes and vegan breakfast wraps.

And Street, which has Thai street food inspired dishes.

Being new to the Granite State, I can't confirm whether or not this is true.

Do you agree that the West End of Portsmouth is the most hipster neighborhood in New Hampshire?
