Summer has finally arrived. And it showed up this morning in grand fashion.

The Summer Solstice started this morning at 12:24. Although a day is always roughly 24 hours, the summer solstice marks the day that those of us in the Northern Hemisphere get the most daylight.

I took these two pictures this morning at 4:45, on my way to work.
