Tony Lara, a veteran crab catcher who starred on Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch", has died at age 50.

The Associated Press reports he died at a private home in Sturgis, South Dakota following the town's world famous motorcycle rally.

The cause of death is unknown at this time but an autopsy is planned.
