Cat Cafe Could be Opening in the Boston Area

Attention cat lovers...the Boston area could soon be opening a cat cafe!

There has been talk for some time about a cat cafe coming to the Boston area, but it seems now it could soon be a reality. According to the Boston Restaurant Talk blog site, a cat cafe called 'PURR' will hopefully open up in Brighton. This, after plans fell though for a location in both Cambridge and Boston.

Eater Boston, says customers would pay to enter 'PURR,' however no food would be made on the premises. Instead, the cat cafe would partner with local eateries and have food delivered to patrons.

If all goes well, 'PURR,' would be open 7 days a week and adoptable cats would reside in the store. Plus, 10 percent of their profits would help local cat shelters that partner with the cafe.
