Cell Phone Pictures Gone Wrong, Chowder Fest Success and Kellie Pickler’s Heading Our Way

Today's topic went sideways really fast.We thought it would be fun to see some of the weirdest photos people have on their cellphones.  In hindsight, probably wasn't our best idea.  I can't even begin to explain some of the pictures that were posted on our Facebook page.  If your curiosity is peaked check them out for yourself. And, reallly, is it actually a 'thing' to post and send pictures of bathroom habits?  Seriously?  Shouldn't what happens in the bathroom, stay in the bathroom?

Chowder Fest Was A Huge Success

Judging from the picture, I'd say the 30th Annual WOKQ Chowder Fest at Prescott Park was a success!  Looking forward to the 31st!

Two Officers, One Civilian Killed In Las Vegas
With the suspects both dead, investigators in Las Vegas continue to puzzle over a couple who killed two police officers having lunch in a pizza parlor and a customer at a nearby Wal-Mart. The couple died when the woman shot her companion, then killed herself. Authorities say both police officers were married and had children.

Governor Plans To Sign Buffer Zone Bill
Gov. Maggie Hassan plans to sign a bill that will allow New Hampshire's reproductive health facilities where abortions are offered to set buffer zones of up to 25 feet around their entrances. The bill was filed in response to protests and picket activity at Planned Parenthood's health center in Manchester.

Deadly Accident In Alton
Police say one person has died in a collision involving two pickup trucks in Alton. One truck traveling eastbound on Henry Wilson Highway entered into the westbound lane to pass several vehicles at about 9:10 p.m. Sunday.

Stupid News

Awww....One member of the Class of 2014 walked across the stage on four legs. Shawnee, the Yellow Lab, wore a cap and gown for the Roosevelt High School graduation. The service dog attended classes with her owner, Jessica.  They both received diplomas!

One day, Mark pulled up to a big farm house.  He noticed a farmer all alone standing in a big green pasture.  After a few hours, Mark yelled to the man asking what he was doing.  The man yelled back he was trying to win the Nobel Prize.  He said he didn't know exactly how to win it, but he did know you have to be 'out standing in your field!'
