Charlestown Woman Robbed, Hospitalized

(Charlestown, NH) - State and local police are investigating a Sunday night incident that resulted in a woman being hospitalized.

Authorities believe that two suspects overpowered the 60 year old woman as she was letting her dogs out Sunday night around 10:30. She was tied-up and left in her basement while the bandits took jewelry and coins before fleeing.

The woman was found Monday morning by a contractor doing work at the home. The victim had a previous medical condition and was in critical condition when she was found. She is now reported to be in stable condition.

The two suspects were caught by surveillance camera and appear to be white males in their twenties or early thirties.
