After the restaurant chain was forced to close all their stores in 2016 for a short time after a major E. coli outbreak, Chipotle, now has another PR nightmare.

According to CNBC, Chipotle recently detected 'unauthorized activity' on a payment processing system for purchases made at Chipotle restaurants.

The burrito company says it believes it has taken the proper steps to stop the activity. The breach investigation focuses on purchases made between March 24, 2017  - April 18, 2017.

A statement from Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold, asks customers to closely monitor their payment card statements and notify their bank if they see an unauthorized charge.
