Everything old is new again. If you've never heard Christopher Walken reading The Raven, let this be the time you make that happen. Halloween is almost here, after all.

This isn't even vaguely new, having been released back in 1997 on a cd called Closed on Account of Rabies: Poems and Tales of Edgar Allan Poe. Why is it viral again after eighteen years? That's the internet for you-- nuggets like this spring forth again unexpectedly like a web-born cicada.

What is important is that you set aside about 8:30 minutes at work with the headphones on and just let this roll over you. Be it for the first time, the fiftieth (or the last, ooooh), this is worth every minute-- even if, yes, it could use more cowbell.
