CMA Daily Poll: Female Vocalist of the Year [VOTE]

As we start CMA week at WOKQ, voting is still open for Song of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, New Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year. Today let's take a look at Female Vocalist of the Year, and it really comes down to two people. 

I think Kacey Musgraves is a terrific artist and I'm eager to hear more from her, but musically she's been quiet this past year so she's probably not going to win. I think the same goes for Martina McBride. Taylor Swift is enjoying great success in the pop arena with her new album "1989", so it's doubtful that she'd win the category.

In my mind the competition is between Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert. They are the leading females in country music. But Carrie took a bit of a break to record her new album and in the meantime Miranda has been on fire. The slight edge goes to Miranda Lambert on this one. Agree or disagree by voting below.
