CNN to Air Special on 1980’s: You Can Bet I’ll be Watching

Get the DVR's ready. Beginning tonight, CNN begins their look back to the 1980's. I for one, cannot wait!

I was a child of the 70's but my teen years were spent with high hair, shoulder pads, neon hoop earrings and parachute pants. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited for this series. CNN has also covered the 1960's and 1970's. 

Below are some of the most memorable moments from the 1980's. How many do you remember:

We were glued to the television set to watch the Royal Wedding back in 1981.

Then, there was the other huge wedding of 1981...Luke and Laura on General Hospital!

It was all about 'Dynasty' and 'Dallas' for nighttime drama.

And...who could forget, 'Wham!' George Michael and that other guy.
