( Concord, N.H. ) - The New Hampshire Supreme Court is upholding the death sentence of the man convicted of killing  Manchester police officer  Michael Briggs in 2006.

The justices unanimously ruled today that Michael Addison will remain the state's only death row inmate.  He was convicted of killing officer Briggs after a violent, weeklong series of crimes that put him at the top of the city's "most wanted" list.
