According to WMUR, jokester David Spade was out and about in the Granite State over the weekend. His Netflix comedy "Father of the Year" was a part of the four day NH Film Festival at the 3S Artspace in Portsmouth. Spade plays a stereotypical character that he has mastered over the years, a dysfunctional dad.

Tyler Spindel co-wrote and directed the film. He is a New Hampshire native and Adam Sandler's nephew!

Spindell spoke to those who attended the screening and said:

“Thank you, everybody. Thanks so much for coming. We love New Hampshire"
