A deadly accident took place earlier this week in the parking lot of the former 'Shogun Restaurant' in Newington, New Hampshire.

A 37-year-old Maine man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle.  A report in the Union Leader says the victim was doing wheelies when he crashed into the building Wednesday night.

The victim was identified as Robert J. Barish of Lebanon, Maine. Authorities say Barish, who was wearing a helmet, struck a wooden pillar and crashed into a glass door of the building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say there were witnesses to the accident who were interviewed and it is not believed drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the deadly accident.

The Shogun Restaurant was closed in July of 2017.
