Canine influenza has spread to sixteen states and has made its way to New England.

A strain of bird flu is now affecting dogs and can be fatal. This canine flu can spread dog to dog, much like how human flu is spread. Be aware of dogs in your area that may have this flu, and keep your dog away from them.

This flu has spread to Massachusetts, and has been mostly spreading in Doggie Daycares. Some dogs don't show symptoms, but when they do, some get a cough, runny nose, and fever.

Bring your pup to the Vet if he/she has any of these symptoms as soon as possible.

  • Dogs of all breds and ages can get it
