Doritos Standing Up For Bullied Teens with Rainbow Chips

Doritos, the corn chip manufactured by Frito-Lay is taking a stand with a unique, rainbow colored Cool Ranch tortilla chip..

According to a news item from FOX News, the company is selling a limited edition of the product by donation only to support the It Gets Better Project which encourages gay and lebsbian teenagers who have been bullied..

The chips will not be sold in stores and will be mailed to donors of 10 dollars or more to the organization.

"Doritos Rainbows chips are a first-of-its-kind product supporting the LGBT community. Doritos the brand has stood 'for the bold,' and we believe there is nothing bolder than being yourself," Ram Krishnan, Frito-Lay's chief marketing officer, said in a release.

In 2012 Kraft/Nabisco did a similar rainbow promotion with a rainbow colored Oreo on it's Facebook page however they never produced the cookie.  These Rainbow Doritos are legitimate and available now.
