Dover Assault Suspect In Custody

(Dover, NH ) - Dover Police say the Rochester man wanted for a brutal assault last month is facing arraignment after his arrest Sunday night.

24 year old Thomas Joy turned himself in to Police in Wakefield just after 10 Sunday night and was charged with Second Degree Assault.

Police had issued an arrest warrant charging Joy with delivering a sucker punch to the jaw of Nate Jones of Somersworth as Jones sat on the steps outside the Brickhouse Restaurant in Dover on April 2.

Joy was identified as the suspect last week based on surveillance video of the incident.
