Dover Community Mourns Death of Beloved Horse

The Dover Police Department along with the close-knit Dover community is mourning the loss of one of the original horses in the Mounted Unit. 

TJ, who had been retired for four years after serving the Dover community has passed away.

'With heavy hearts we laid to rest one of our amazing retired mounts, TJ.
He spent 15 years of his life being patted by little hands and helping to keep Dover a little bit safer. Our hearts are broken.'

The 'Friends of the Dover Mounted Police' Facebook Page posted a picture collage showing just how loved TJ was. RIP sweet boy.
