Dover Man Arrested For Durham Burglary

(Durham, NH) - 20 year old Devon Raftery-Smart faces 7 Felony charges after his arrest for the incident that occurred on September 29th.

Police were able to identify Raftery-Smart as the suspect in the event and took him in to custody on Friday.

He is alleged to have entered an apartment in The Cottages of Durham on Clubhouse Road around 2 o'clock on the morning of September 29th and threatened several people with a handgun, pressing the muzzle into the neck of one of the victim's neck.

Raftery-Smart is charged with Burglary, Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon, First Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon and 4 Counts of Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon.

He was released on P.R. bail pending a court appearance next month.

Officials say Raftery-Smart is not a UNH student.
