Dover Man Charged In November Incident

(Dover, NH) - A Dover man faces charges from an incident last November 10th outside DiCicco's Market on Whittier Street.

25 year old Morgan Belanger allegedly stole a car parking in front of the store and nearly struck the owner as he sped away. A video surveillance camera helped police identify Belanger and the vehicle was tracked by On-Star to Haverhill, Massachusetts where he abandoned  the vehicle and fled on foot

Belanger was eventually apprehended by Haverhill police and held on numerous charges. The Dover Police Department has charged Belanger with Theft of an Automobile and Reckless Conduct.

He is free on bail pending a court hearing in June.
