Interstate 95 in Seabrook was a mess this morning, thanks in part to the driver of a box truck with a suspended licence.

According to Seacoast Online, a box truck spun out of control and crashed into a tanker truck this morning in Seabrook shortly after 6am. The accident would shut down northbound lanes for two hours during a busy morning commute.

To add insult to the situation, the driver who started the pile-up was on a suspended licence.

39 year old Edwin Ortega of Lawrence, Massachusetts was found to be driving with a suspended license and was issued a summons for that offense, according to police. According to Seacoast Online, police said they determined Ortega was traveling too fast for the existing winter storm road conditions. He collided with a 2017 Peterbilt with a 45-foot tank trailer. This vehicle was piloted by Peter Gomes Leicester, Massachusetts.

Neither driver was injured as a result of the accident.
