If you don't follow the Bangor Police Department on Facebook, you're really missing out on some of the descriptions of crimes that you can find anywhere.

I love the Bangor Police Department and their ability to WIN on social media. They're great at posting hilarious, detailed depictions of a day in the life of the Bangor PD.

A recent post from the weekend is getting a lot of attention after a pair of local college kids fled the scene after jumping on the roof of someone else's car.

The descriptive quotes are priceless......

....Apparently, a couple of well lubricated, college aged males made the decision that treating someone else's car like a really tall surfboard was the right thing to do. It is not.

The SUV suffered dents and scrapes on the roof and we are strong proponents for making sure that they pay for damages along with dealing with any punishment that the courts deem appropriate.

The bad news is that the lubricated dipsticks fled the area when chased by people who felt that the roof top was the wrong venue for the mambo.

The good news is that the natural hip motion caused by leaping off the roof must have jarred loose the wallet of one of the participants. That wallet was recovered and the individual's identification was found inside. These times do try us.
