Happy Holidays! Wait, What? An Eggnog Fan Calls for Delay on ‘Nog Rollout

If the packaging features snow covered houses and poinsettia, October might be jumping the gun. Drinking eggnog in October is like giving candy canes out at Halloween. That's not thing yet, is it?

Mind you, I'm about as big a fan of eggnog* as you'll find but I like to keep my seasons in order. I worry that the tradition of Santa's arrival at the end of Thanksgiving parades may soon find him taking up the rear of Halloween parades instead (although Zombie Santa might be pretty cool). Until such time, let's hold off on rolling the eggnog out until November 1st.

* Regular eggnog and not the pumpkin, caramel and sugar cookie 'nog variations. I appreciate efforts to improve on greatness, but the original is where it's at.
