(Epping, NH) - Two men suffered serious injuries in an early-morning crash Monday in Epping.

N.H. State Police say a car driven by 19-year old Vincent Casazza of Newmarket went off Camp Lee Road around 3 am and struck several trees.

Casazza and a passenger, 17 year-old Kyle Ward of Laconia, were trapped in the wreckage and had to been freed by rescue crews.

Casazza was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with serious injuries and Ward was airlifted to Mass General Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating, but speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
