ALERT: Exit 3 on Spaulding Turnpike to Close Permanently

The existing Exit 3 off-ramp in Newington (Woodbury Ave) from the Spaulding Turnpike southbound, will permanently close this week.

The New Hampshire DOT says the closure will take place on today, Tuesday, July 7. It will force commuters to be detoured to the Exit 1 southbound off-ramp and continue to Woodbury Avenue via Gosling Road.

The detour will be in effect until a brand new Woodbury Avenue bridge is expected to open sometime this October.

*The northbound on-ramp at Exit 3 will remain open, but will be changing locations to match the final alignment of the roadway*
