Fire Damages A Pittsfield Business and Closes Schools [NEWS]

An overnight fire has heavily damaged the Rustic Crust Pizza Company in Pittsfield.

The fire was first reported around 11:30 Thursday night and went to 4 alarms, bringing in mutual aid from a number of communities. The fire is believed to have started in one of the pizza ovens at the company.  There were no injuries to the 20 employees in the building at the time.
Because of the draw on the town water system, schools in Pittsfield have been closed for today.
