It's a stupid concept. A storm so intense that it pulls sharks from the ocean, sends them flying through the air and dropping them on unsuspecting land-dwellers in Los Angeles. Sometimes something can be so bad that it becomes good. That was the case last August when the SyFy channel released their network-made semi-masterpiece. Crazy story line, cheesy special effects and all.

It became a huge hit. Since it looks like this thing took about a day and a half to make, it's no surprise that less than a year later SyFy is back with "Sharknado 2: The Second One". That's right, while the movies don't take a long time to make, apparently their marketing meetings aren't too lengthy either.

This time the dorsal-finned horror invades New York City and once again stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. Cast additions for this one include Vivica A. Fox, Kelly Osbourne, Mark McGrath, Billy Ray Cyrus, Judah Friedlander, Andy Dick, and Judd Hirsch.

Wouldn't it be great if the WOKQ Chowderfest at Prescott Park tomorrow had a shark chowder entry? Yum! Failing that... Please enjoy your first look at the trailer for "Sharknado 2: The Second One"...
